Value Proposition

Skills Development (together with Enterprise & Supplier Development and Ownership) is one of the three key priority elements under the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. Below is the value proposition for corporates to support Skills Development initiatives.

  • Through supporting (financial sponsorship) of learnerships and skills programmes in a manner that satisfies the 40% minimum threshold of Skills Development enables our clients to claim the 20 points on Skills Development.
  • Supporting learners through Learnership Programmes enables Corporates to claim tax rebates under Section 12H of the Income Tax Act.
  • Skills Development initiatives result in staff that is motivated and knowledgeable in their areas of work.
  • Additional funding can be raised through the Discretionary Grants and Mandatory Grants, in line with the client SETA requirements.
